  • Carr Kaufmann

Christopher Carr Kaufmann has been with RB Management Services, Inc. for over fifteen years and presently serves as its Sr. Vice President Asset Management and Director of Construction Management. Carr received his Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Clemson University and his Master of Business Administration from Georgia State University. He also attended the Carl Duisberg Institute in Radolfezell, Germany studying the language with international professionals and students. He is a recipient of President Reagans’ Congress-Bundestag Scholarship, one of 50 people selected nationwide. Under this grant Carr was compensated to study and work in Germany. Upon his return from Germany he received the Goethe Institute Certificate for the highest score possible in comprehension of the German language. In 1994 he received his Commercial Real Estate License and in 2008 the Certified Property Manager designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management. Currently he serves on the Board of Directors for IREM’s Georgia Chapter and is the Chairman of IREM’s Young Professionals Committee.

Carr’s early years at RB Management were spent as a Property Manager of office, retail and medical space. His responsibilities grew to include asset management, business development, management of tenant construction, varied building renovations, as well as major development and redevelopment projects. Carr has completed the development of build-to-suits including American Cancer Society, Southern Tennis Association, Georgia Automobile Dealers Association, veterinary hospitals in Alpharetta, GA and Phoenix, AZ, several retail stores for an expanding California-based smoothie franchise and the redevelopment of a high-rise urban office building in Atlanta. Currently he is managing the development of numerous build-to-suits for the General Services Administration throughout the East Coast and Midwest.

Prior to joining RB Management, Carr was employed with Partners Management, Inc., where he was responsible for the renovation and occupancy of a metro Atlanta apartment community. His tasks included organizing and overseeing sub-contractors while personally leasing all units. His career started in the finance and marketing departments of Volkswagen AG in Wolfsburg, Germany where he worked with a team that was responsible for analyzing the reduction of production costs and simplification of the manufacturing process during a time of crisis in the German auto industry.

In his spare time Carr enjoys traveling, hiking, biking, boating, and sailing.
